■3rd Person POV■

Y/N grips and places the note she just wrote on the table, next to a plate of the meal and a glass of wine. She pulls out the promise ring from her finger and places it down with the note. She walks away from the dining table, heading to the door after takings her purse and luggage with her.

She takes her phone from her purse and texts her lover or soon to be ex, Oikawa Tooru.

Goodbye Oikawa.

Y/N grips her phone on her chest. A tear roll down her cheek onto the cold floor. She remembers what happened last night.

~Flashback~

Y/N's been realizing something is wrong with Oikawa since 8 months ago. It's not like he's ignoring her or do something bad to her. Oikawa is still the sweet and affectionate boyfriend he usually is but, things are changing.

Oikawa been coming home late and on weekends, he sometimes went out when he used to spend the day with Y/N. Then one time Y/N found a lipstick stain on Oikawa's shirt. She didn't want to believe it, her heart is not letting her because it'll break her.

When he's home Oikawa still kiss her and said his magical words

Oikawa: you're my world... my one and only

But somehow, because of the doubts that Y/N has, it sounds empty.

Oikawa used to bring his phone when he took a shower, but last night he forgot to. Y/N open Oikawa's phone and see the messaging apps. There are a lot of women's names, and she opens one and read it. How her heart is shattered when she opens and reads it.

Thanks for today! I'm having a great time love. Can't wait for our date tomorrow.

Y/N places the phone back on the table. The bathroom door is open, Y/N closes her eyes pretending to sleep. Oikawa walks closer to her and sees that she's sleeping. Oikawa kissed her forehead and whispers.

Oikawa : you're my one and only... sweet dreams Y/N love.

With that, he walked back to his side of the bed but checking on his phone before he sleeps. Y/N on the other hand can't keep the tears from coming out.

In the morning, before Oikawa left to practice, Y/N asked him to eat dinner with her, he agreed and so she's feeling a bit relaxed but... right when Y/N is waiting for him to come home he texted her telling her that he got something to do.

The text from last night flashed in her mind and, she finally accepts the truth. Oikawa Tooru is cheating on her.

She packed her clothes and some stuff and decided to leave. If she's no longer his one and only then she might as well stop being his.

~End of Flashback~

Y/N walks out of their shared apartment and stops a Taxi. She puts her stuff in and gets in the car. She's planning on leaving Miyagi.

On the other side, Oikawa had just finished having a heated up session with one of his fangirl. Yes, Oikawa tooru has been cheating behind her lover.

It's not Y/N's fault, she's perfect for Oikawa. The sweetest most beautiful and caring person in his life, Oikawa loves her so much. She means the world to him. Whenever he said that she's the only one for him, he said it from his heart. But the thing is... Oikawa can't escape the greed in himself.

Y/N is beautiful, but there are many other beautiful ladies around him. Oikawa Tooru is always surrounded by his fangirl, and sometimes he couldn't help it to be attracted by their body. Yes, he only sees them for their body.

Oikawa has been feeling guilty since he has been doing this behind Y/N back for 8 months. But he couldn't stop himself. Oikawa always thought that Y/N is a trusting and caring girlfriend. He thought that Y/N is clueless.

When Oikawa is buttoning his shirt, a message came and he check it up. It was the text from Y/N. Suddenly he was feeling nervous.

■Oikawa's POV■

What's the meaning of this? What did she mean by goodbye? And why did she call me Oikawa? Is she mad because I didn't come home for dinner? No, she never gets mad.... Nothing's wrong, right? I just need to call her.

I dialed her number and wait. While it was ringing, I couldn't help but to feel a little uneasy, but I don't know why. Just then Y/N picks up the phone.

Oikawa: hey Y/N! What are you doing? What did you mean by the text?

Isn't she's too quiet, she hasn't been answering my questions. Did something really happen?

Oikawa: Y/N, what is it? Are you mad because I have extra practice? I'm sorry I am go-

Y/N: I knew... all along

I could feel my breath hitched, I'm starting to sweat. What did she know?

Oikawa: what is it ab...about?

Sobs... sobs

What? Did she cry over there? What is wrong? did she really know? no! I've been really careful.

Oikawa: Y/N ARE YOU ALRIGHT? HEY WHAT HAP-

Y/N: I know... I'm not your one and only.... I knew it all along...

It feels like my heart stops beating for a sec. There's a lump in my throat and I found it hard to spit a word.

Y/N: I'm sorry... I read your phone last night... but, it's filling the puzzle that I need to wake me up.... wake up from my dream about how I could be enough for you... when.... I'm no-

Oikawa: NO! NO Y/N PLEASE LISTEN TO ME... UH IT'S NOT LIKE THAT, YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE FOR ME REALLY, I LOVE YOU SO MU-

Y/N: If... you love me then.... you wouldn't fall in love with another woman... I couldn't continue like this... Oikawa san

I hurriedly dress up and took my stuff, leaving the girl I just slept with confused. I run to my car, never end the call.

Oikawa: Y/N please listen to me... I'm sorry... please, don't call me that way please... I'll be home soon okay so please...

Y/N: it's.. alright.... I hope you're happy Oikawa san... please drive saf-

Oikawa: STOP CALLING ME LIKE THAT! PLEASE JUST CALL ME BY MY NAME... Y/N... It's Tooru... please...

Y/N: Goodbye.... Oikawa... san

Y/N ended the call.

"Goodbye Oikawa san"

Oh please no don't. She can't call me like that, she.... I'm going to talk it out with her at home. Yes at our home.

I parked my car and run to my shared apartment. When I got inside, it feels like my body was numb. No one is greeting me from the living room.

Oikawa: Y...N? baby, where... are you?

I walk to the kitchen and found food on the table. Next to the food, there's a note and..... Y/N's ring.

I read the note

Oikawa san, I've been knowing about what you did for months.
I keep it on my own because I was in a huge denial. But, last night, my doubts were gone, and probably my feeling's too.

I love you so much, Oikawa san.
I'm sorry for checking your phone without your permission,
And I'm sorry for leaving.

I hope you can finally find someone who's enough to make you happy.  I will leave you so you could be with someone else. The real your one and only.

Thank you for everything, those five years I have with you, I was really happy. Please don't overwork yourself and take good care of your health.

Oikawa : No... Y/N, please...

I run to our shared bedroom and look inside our wardrobe. There's nothing on her side of the shelves. Y/N left me, and it was all because of my own foolishness. Why didn't I stop? Why did I hurt her? All this time she knew, and she still acted as my sweet little Y/N. I placed my right hand on the top of my wristwatch, the couple watch that I got from her. 

Oikawa : you... really are the only one for me... the only one that I love, Y/N... I'm so sorry

My greed makes me lost what's essentials for me.

The perfection that I already have in my life, I pushed it away.

I lost my love, because of my stupidity

Now when will I escape the regret that starting to fill my body and soul?
